ABOUT THIS PERSIAN ART WORK FROM IRANIAN ARTIST - REZA KARIMI
This painting is a depiction of an ancient village in Iran, with
a Persian well. The emphasis is on strong light and shade against
the Persian blue sky. This small Iranian village near Isfahan,
is from my childhood memories. I remember that on the right side
there was a humble bicycle repair shop. Above the shop was a portable
roof made with straw, in order to create some shade from the hot
Iranian sun. In the distance, was a mini bazaar {bazaar che}.
It was this combination of old Iranian elements which prompted
me to paint this Persian watercolor.
