ABOUT THIS PERSIAN ART WORK FROM IRANIAN ARTIST - REZA KARIMI
The painterly technique of watercolor depicts the simplicity
of an Iranian shopkeeper. The composition of this Iranian watercolor
is arranged so that in the foreground the charcoal is observed
first and in the background columns divide the Iranian charcoal
seller with his ancient Persian scale. At the top of the painting
a simplified horizontal form indicates the roll-up metal shop
door of this old Iranian store. This artwork is one of my favorite
Persian paintings.
